AICE media studies: Music Video Submission

 My music video is a different from when I first drew it on my storyboard. For example, some scenes and transitions panned out differently, like scene where me and my partner went from facing backwards to forwards but in the end, my partner edited it. If there was anything I could do differently, it would probably be the time and location of some of the scenes. To be more specific, the scene where I was in the tree was kind of unplanned. I forgot about the times I was supposed to film my solo part and that's on me. But I was able to do it the next day, even if it was not the first position I thought of. Along with that some things like the scenes that have been swapped both, but that was because of the editing. Other than that the video does not have any other problems.

AICE Media Studies: Production Blog

 As of today, no filming has been done. We have made a few tweaks to our storyboard. Also we have been collecting materials and props we would need. We bought a basketball as one of the major props. After that we used a pump to make sure its not deflated. The basketball is the most important prop of this project. And we needed to make sure we have everything settled. As for when filming will begin, I'm not sure. Next week will be my last week in this Airbnb. but my house isn't finished. So my mother is looking for other places to stay in the meantime. Wherever it is, Ill have to be there for 4 weeks. Which is annoying and irritating to even think about. But that's life so we have to deal with it. I could just ask my mother to drive me to the locations for filming. On the days she doesn't have work she probably can. But regardless it should be alright. The filming should be finished in a day or two. Then the hard part is over. Until then I guess I'll be waiting.

 As of today filming has not started. It will take a while in order for me and my partner to start recording. I'm still in the Airbnb, far away from every filming location. But soon I will be back in my home and ready to film. In order to film we will need a third actor as well. Luckily for us, I talked to our mutual friend and he said he'll help act. He's also in Media Studies, but he is in S level. While me and my partner are in AS. Along with that the three locations are close to his house, my partners house, and mine as well. We can start filming now but it would be very slow. And also very inconvenient for everybody involved. For now though we will be cleaning things up with our script. Just making sure things flow and look right. Sometimes there are little errors you forget to correct. But it's not that bad and I'm not changing anything major.
